Marilyn Monroe Inspired Boudoir Photo Shoot!

Nicole wanted to do something a little different for her boudoir shoot, and came up with a Marilyn Monroe inspired look that I loved! I really enjoyed her spin on the traditional Marilyn look, especially the cute flowered bra and of course the white feather boa! I would love to do more themed shoots like this one, so if you have an idea you’d like to share, let me know!

New Boudoir Studio – Sneak Peek!

I am so excited to announce that Magnolia Photographic now has it’s very own boudoir studio! After scouring every Home Sense store in a 50km radius, flipping through dozens of wallpaper books, and endless online shopping, I managed to put together my ideal boudoir studio. Each piece has been specially selected with boudoir in mind – from the glittery mirror to the sexy silver beaded curtain, this room is designed to bring out your inner diva! Forever Yours Lingerie – Sex and the Suburbs Event

I’ve been a fan of Forever Yours Lingerie for quite some time – not only am I a customer, but I recommend their store to all my boudoir clients as well! So it was with great pleasure that I photographed their “Sex and the Suburbs” event! Forever Yours is well known for their after-hours events, featuring cocktails, decadent treats, and of course, sale prices! The store itself is beautiful, feminine, and sexy, and full of gorgeous quality pieces both sassy and practical. Best of all, staff members are trained to help you find your “perfect fit” – it’s amazing how many women wear the wrong bra size! I was one of those women, until I came into Forever Yours years ago and was shocked to find out my true size – the difference in bra fit is incredible, and I recommend every woman go through this process. Lucy Clothing, sister store to Forever Yours, was also having their own “Sex and the Suburbs” event, so I strolled down the street for a few pics of this fabulous store as well. Lucy offers clothing for women sizes 12-24, and I have to say the variety and quality was outstanding – and again the staff here are awesome! Even if you live in Vancouver, I encourage you to make the trek out to Langley and visit Forever Yours – these ladies know their stuff, the lingerie is fantastic, and I guarantee you’ll be coming back for more!The fabulous Sonya Perkins, owner of Forever Yours Lingerie
